This year's Artisan MADE is an intimate creative retreat for artists and makers who want to reconnect with the joy of creating, learn new skills, and spend a meaningful weekend surrounded by a welcoming community of creatives.
For one weekend, we'll slow down, create with intention, and embrace the season we're in. Whether you're growing a creative business, exploring a new medium, or simply making time to create again, you'll leave refreshed, inspired, and ready to keep blooming where you've been planted.
The Weekend Schedule:
Friday 10/2
2:00PM
Artisan Business Intensive
Practical business education, honest conversations, and encouraging ideas to help you build a creative business that reflects your goals.
6:00PM
Floral Palette Painting with Renee Smith
Create a beautiful piece of impressionist style art with Renee Smith on a Keepsake Palette for a unique design that is all your own.
Saturday 10/3
10:00AM
Textured Weaving Workshop
Begin Saturday Morning with a hands-on weaving experience inspired by the beauty and simplicity of wildflowers.
3:00PM
Functional Art Workshop: Furniture Painting with Renee Smith
Learn how to create a beautiful, dimensional canvas out of your furniture and add you own art for unique pieces that showcase your style.
Sunday 10/4
2:00PM - 6:00PM
Mixed Media Open Studio
Choose your own mixed-media project from a menu of creative options and enjoy a relaxed afternoon creating alongside Danielle and Renee.
Your All Access registration includes a $35 Open Studio Credit, so you can choose the project that inspires you most.
This isn't a large conference. It's an intentionally small gathering for only 8 attendees in the Artisan Business Intensive.
That means plenty of time to ask questions, receive personal instruction, share conversations around the table, and enjoy the kind of creative community that makes Artisan MADE so special.
October 2–4, 2026
Spartanburg, South Carolina
All Access Registration: $425
Your registration includes all four workshops, a $35 Open Studio Credit for Sunday's creative experience, and a weekend designed to encourage creativity, connection, and meaningful time spent making.
If you've been longing for a weekend to slow down, create with your hands, and reconnect with the joy of making, we'd love to have you around the table with us.
Bloom where you are planted.
